My son ordered rb5 door cards... and when they arrived they do NOT look like RB5 door cards to me at all, nor him for infact.. as from what i can see in the rb5 brochure on the net.. the door cards should be a very light blue which is alcantara??

right my son has just got off the phone to the place he got them from and this was their excuse:
"we were told they were RB5 door cards.. and we wont accept them back"
at this point my son told them that he was told they were in good condition and RB5 door cards.. both of which are lies as they were covered in grass and moss etc, and there are several tears in the material, and therefore it was their error and so they should accept them back
"at the end of the day you wanted 4 door cards.. and you got them, whats the problem?"
can someone please help me/my son in terms of advice as i believe this company are completely in the wrong!!

They were sold as RB5 door cards and they ain't. How did he pay for them? hopefully by credit card. If so, get in touch with the Credit Card company. They were mis-sold IMHO and the company are just not wanting to accept them back and giving you cr@ppy reasons.
Also check what any invoice or delivery receipt says. Mentioning RB5 would be in your favour, if it just says door cards it gets more difficult proving they were mis-sold.

Hi ScoobyDoo69
Under the trade discription act because the goods were mis sold then they full under the 'goods not fit for the purpose the where bought for' which means by LAW the must give you a refund , exchange or credit to spend in there shop...!!!
It's law ask citizens advice they will give you all the details
Hope this helps you out...?
I have been in a similer situation.

Debit Cards aren't good as they don't cover you for this type of problem. Not in the same way as Credit Cards (VISA, Mastercard, etc..).
You need evidence to back up your story that the cards were actually mis-sold i.e. invoice, delivery note, description from the web site, any e-mail correspondance which admits they didn't know what they were off.
Just because the seller was told they were RB5 cards is no excuse. They should check before selling them on as such.
You don't want to get into an arguement that simply boils down to your (well you sons) word against theirs. Then you'd probably need to take them to small claims court.
