As it looks like the stereo has already been stolen, my install doubles as a theft prevention measure as well.

MY93 WRX. Slightly more DIY-looking than some, but right up in the eyeline where it needs to be!!

Mine's the same as Playsatan's, but I managed to break the top off the last amber (next to the big 'un) in the process of the move!!

Don't know that particular LED works.....not had much knock since the new fuel pump, boost controller and copious amounts of NF.

I think I'll have to source one and change it out......anyone know the details of each LED??

Rob I really don't want to get into this online but if you want I will.

I have copies of every email you and I have both sent and the picture they paint does not exactly make you look like the good guy, let alone back up what you say.

I have sent you my address.

I hope I don't have to chase you again - much less stressful for me.

Rob - I asked you to confirm when you had sent it. As I haven't received either the knocklink or a response does this mean you've still got it??

Rob has asked me to post As he is away at the moment and cannot Get to a computer ..... he said when you post him the money For postage and remote work he will send it back to you.

The offer of Free work is not going to be done as you brought this to the board in the first place ..

Out of the question!!

Rob has always referred to what he has done as FOC and that he would post it back at his expense. He clearly states on page 1 of this thread that he would send it on the 4th May. . . . . 5 days later and I find myself being told, by someone I don't know, that this is not the case.

The very reason this was brought up on the board is because he would not respond to my emails and PMs or to call me on my mobile. I only posted on this thread as I have grown so frustrated by him not getting back to me.

I only now know where my property because I posted on this thread again - it's the only means of communication that is working!! When was he going to tell me he is holding my property to ransom??

I suggest he sticks to his word and sends everything back to me as discussed.

The longer this goes on the more public it becomes.

Back

Right here is the situation... my offer by mail for free work was sent to you before you posted on here.
I am happy to keep this going as long as you like. You started this unessecarily and i have replied.
I have no business to defend, people know how good my work is and that is why they come back. If people choose to stay away that is fine, you are one unhappy person in 100's, I have tried to fit time in and i have also cancelled a number of times, this is due to the fact that i do shift work and scheduling round that is a problem, i can often be asked to stay longer without notice to sort out any problems.

No i will not be doing anything FOC!! maybe if you had of refrained from posting then there would have been no problem, but i'm f*cked if i am going to pay out for parts, do the work and then pay for the postage after this.

You have my address, i expect payment for work done before anything else, if you wish to continue this by email then i may change my opinion of what is going to happen.

I suggest, you stick to our agreement and make payment for the work like you agreed!

I'm not going to revert back to having my emails ignored so I'll carry on posting here.

You talk as if a lot of work has been done and that you have spent money on parts. You also act as if I should know how much money you actually expect me to pay for this whole fiasco, considering you've never actually touched my car.

I still find it quite unbelievable that you think it fair to ignore my emails and PMs then throw a strop when I post on here as a last resort. You've got my mobile phone number FFS!

By your own admission the work already carried out was never going to be chargeable. It is surely obvious to everyone that simply because you are embarrassed about this happening publicly you have chosen to try and fine me.

It is also pretty unclear what exactly you misunderstood.

No strop here...

No 'Fine' to pay lol

Plain and simple, you will need to pay for the led holders.

One other thing that needs clearing up, our original discussion at PE was for me to do the remote work for you, you then asked me to fit it for you as well.

I have the email in front of me stating how much the holders cost and the fact that they were needed to finish off the install (neatness)

If you cant find the mail then maybe you should have a better look.

I seriously have no problem with this carrying on as long as you like, one thing is for sure though.. You owe me money for the LED holders and i wont be sending anything out until you have paid for them.

Nothing to be embarressed of, i dont see the need for any public viewing but i have nothing to hide hence my continuation of this thread...

Payment for holders needed.

Rob the one thing that needs clearing up is hardly clear!
My original contact with you , prior to the PE meet last year. This was sent as a PM on Scoobynet:

Hi Rob

Have seen a thread in '3rd Party' regarding knocklink installation.

I have a MY00 outside the house and a knocklink in my bedroom. What would you charge to install it, with the LEDs mounted on the steering column?

Thanks

Max
You resonded to this on 27th July 2004, and offered a price.

This price did not include holders as 5 months later, in December, you decided it would look '****' without them:

Hi Max,

As usual i am a busy man and have just got
round to fitting my own set up. I decided that the leds
look **** without holders and have just ordered stock of them, tehy shoudl
be here on thurs so we will go from there mate.

Sorry for the wait.
Rob
I don't know if I have deleted the price for the holders or if I never received one. Either way I only have your original price for all of the work.

Whilst you claim you are not in strop, also that you are not fining me as a result of a strop, you are quite open about the fact that the work you have already done was FOC.

You publicly confirm it:
I appreciate you have waited a long time, and as you will see i have replied to your mail today with free fitting and remote work free
No i will not be doing anything FOC!! maybe if you had of refrained from posting then there would have been no problem, but i'm f*cked if i am going to pay out for parts, do the work and then pay for the postage after this.
The offer of Free work is not going to be done as you brought this to the board in the first place ..
Yet now expect me to pay. Clearly a decision made without emotion.

Again, how would I have found any of this out if I had not posted on Scoobynet. Sure Beaker1 claims you were 'away' but I saw you on here a few hours before he posted and you got back in time for tea.

You confirmed you would post everything back to me without charge on 4th May but changed your mind and decided not even to tell me.

Yup, i was on earlier and beaker told me you had replied so i asked him to post whilst i couldnt get to a pc.

No emotion at all, why would i pay for your parts?

Anyways, the longer you keep this going the longer you have to wait...

Nothing will happen until you pay me, that is it really.

I'm not going to waste my time keep posting on here, maybe you think i will change my mind? nope

Last thing from me now, payment for holders needed...

Rob

Seeing as you have only just started talking about paying for the work you have done up to now surely it is obvious that I wouldn't have a price.

How much is the ransom?
