Spec B with added Blitz!
I was expecting this to arrive next week -
Eagerly rushed the box into the garage and set to work on it with me Gerber -
Chucked them in the boot -
On the ramps (can't believe how scabby that factory centre section has got in 3 months) -
Nice flange missus -
My rear end -
My rear end up close -
The sound is exactly what I was after, a fraction louder/deeper without any Nurspec R sillyness, still well within legal limits.
£385 for the exhausts and £120 Air Freight from www.stiracing.com
Almost certainly the first pair fitted to a new Legacy in the UK

Very nice! Bit of a Blitz fan, having had the Nur Spec R system on my old Wagon (boy was it loud! ) Think I'd go for the full on Nur Spec R system, and a nice twin dump downpipe Probably a bit too loud though

Looks absolutely outrageous m8 - bet it sounds impressive!
How come you got rid of the STi and bought a legacy? Have you got a family now?

Thanks for the comments guys.
I drove from Poole to Weston over the weekend and my missus never noticed/heard a thing.
H+S need the car for 3 days in order to make any parts for the new Legacy and I can't do without it for that long, so I'll get a center made locally if I can.
Beefy, missus didn't like the STi (and it was an unreliable bag of ****) so I eventually sold it, brought a sensible 2.5 Legacy Tourer and then brought the Spec B
John, actually on Saturday night I was at Broadstone lawn bowling club, did I have my cap and driving gloves on?

Well I originally emailed Blitz UK and asked them if they could get the exhaust, they replied it was too new for them to stock, but they had emailed Blitz overseas rep to get part numbers and a price, that was the last I heard (3 months ago).
If they can afford to turn their nose up at £400's worth of zaust then good luck to them.
In contrast Simon got me a list of 3 different Spec B systems with prices and let me pick and choose, 6 weeks later and here it is.
It was £38 to send it via water, tooooo slow.

n1 m8, didnt realise the STi had turned out to be so unreliable. At least you stayed in the Subaru fold!
Heard a rumour youre supposed to be tying the knot or something? is this true? Its been a long time since youve been on IRC, have you been banned or was this in the terms of marriage agreement?

Aye m8, sold the WRX last year after some crims tried to break into the house for the keys. Fortunately they didnt get in but it was enough of a scare for me to get rid.
Ive had a clio 172 cup for a year now. Its OK but I'm looking for something a bit bigger now but without the "come and steal me" attraction of the scooby (well round these parts anyway - its frightening).
Ive been looking at the legacy, the accord type s, beamers and Leon CR's but not made my mind up yet. We're about to move house this month (hopefully) so its on the backburners for a bit anyway.
Sorry to hear about your job uncertainty, whats going on there then?

Sorry to hear that Graham, I also had a break-in a few years back, not nice
Nobody buys video games these days, it's mostly hire and there's no money in that.
Paul, "stick ya blue flag up ya ****!" chatting up Rio now eh?
