Just come from an Evo VI, awesome cars mate, get ready for the bills though.

Needs 2 and half times more servicing and doesn't have any more performance than the STi PPP, thats why I swapped. (doesn't have the noise either)
Still love 'em though

That's funny, my mate (CTRnutter) sold his tuned (350bhp) STi 8 PPP (UK03PPP) and got a EVO VI after he got fed up of the 6's killing him round twisties & on motorways when at meets. Pisses over STi 8 PPPs and it's standard

Was there something wrong with yours?

I'd say there was something wrong with your mate's STi. The top 2 gears are longer but the lower ones are shorter, no difference at all in performance...even the book says so.
I'd say either your mate wants to get his money back from that '350hp' upgrade or he should go up against people with smaller bollocks
Still love both cars, it's just the Evo doesn't warrant the extra servicing costs. (stupid AYC too)
