Went down to the Rally of Kent today with DG (John). Loads of action - really good spectating day - one of the best I've been too. I took loads of shots- most didn't come out. Low light levels meant I was shooting on low quality (1meg) images to try and keep the speeds up.

Cracking day Simon - really good. Shame the weather wasn't a little better in the morning. I've been on a lot of rally stages over the last few years and this was one of the best.

LOL Bob - I thought the same about the Vauxhall engine Don't tempt me on the camera front. Everytime I see your shots (getting better each time, I got to say too), I keep thinking about a DSLR. It's not so much buying the body - it's the small fortune I know I'd end up paying for a decent lens!

Tell me about it, after buying the Focus, camera, TV, surround etc there's just enough left in the 'home improvement' loan money to get a nice IS lens, hmm
