Default maybe the best Nurburgring video I have seen

Yep, ive seen a good few of them including my own etc etc......but this fella the latest VLN offering is very good......Nope not in car racing just some very good camera angles and it shows what an amazing track it really is. Maybe the first vid to really show the contours in the circuit also. Most of the others you cant see or feel the ups and downs. Im liking this one alot .......

http://www.8200rpm.com/stuffvids/VLN09102004.wmv

big download but worth it .........

PMSL everytime I think of a thread a while back where a fella scoobynetter said ''its nothing special as a track'' ......... I really should get that printed up on a tee shirt, or a sticker on the car

Paul ........ I would like to drive places like bathurst before I say the best in the world but its right up there mate for sure.

I really like that vid. Spent a fair bit of time going through it last night seeing the camera points etc. The one on the hill overlooking the run up to carousel I have to try for sure........

Still i guess when im there celebrating new years eve, sledding down the snow covered hills etc I can check some new video areas out .......arghhhhhhhh cant wait.

Tankie ........lol ......might be a bit tricky on the pug mate your right.

It will have to go some to beat this:

http://www.fastdrive.org/download.php?view.224

It's like watching on fast forward. I simply cannot imagine the sheer intensity of being inside that cockpit...

Superb. The camera angle on the entry to Weirseifen (2:38) is brilliant, really shows what a pig of a corner that is if you go in too fast.

Gr8 video Someone has given a lot of thought as to where to position the camera. Works well and gives a feel for the place - well as much as 2D images can.

I thought it was poor. If i wanna see trees, tarmac and the occasional fast car, i can look out the back of my house onto the dual carriage way!

nyscooby ..........

Great comment well made and shows that you know nothing at all about the Nurburgring.

John, I think we have our work cut out to produce better stuff then that.

Handbags at dawn!!

Very sorry..... but i thought it was dull.

I've seen the laps video'd on the skyline GTR DVD and they are fantastic.

If you do try another, get less trees in it.

Some people probably waited days downloading that massive file only to see trees.

I do get it, i just watched part of it again, couldn't sit through the entire thing.

Whats to get anyway? Go watch the GTR DVD, then you'll get it.

The cowboy music adds to the dullness for me.

The whole point is, you dont really get how undulating the track is from in car footage in comparison to this blokes camera angles and placement.

Well thats how i see it.

We really should stop talking about it on here else toooooooooooo many people will start to ''get it'' if you catch my drift.

nyscooby .......it wasnt you who said on here a while back ...''its nothing special as a track, i would rather drive Castle Combe'' was it??

No it wasn't, check what ever you have read, it wasn't me. Sorry.

So how many of you have actually been and driven the track? I would imagine several of you will reply 'Yes' instantly.

Are we just rating/grading tracks if they look nice on home video? Of has anyone driven on this track.

If you did the video, were you on a mountain bike track? did you finish up and drive it also. Serious question...

Quick Reply: maybe the best Nurburgring video I have seen
