Nice car. I for one will watch Channel 4 or 5 and look out for the "queer eye for the straight guy" programme. I'd harzard a guess that it wouldnt be your first TV appearance - are you sure you didnt star in one of the latest cosmetic sugery slots.
Still when you need to know how to drive, give me a call, my Honda Accord will show you how its done
Enjoy and remember - 45 degrees and above does not always hit the G spot

I think it looks pretty damn good myself. I'd like to drive one, I'm also interested in your (biased) opinion of the car Arron.
Has it lived up to your expectations? How does it compare to other cars you've owned?

Its just as I knew it would be really.
I love the colour now but was a little apprehensive at first.
I love the fact that it is different.
I was at my dealer yesterday and the new 05 car was there.
Another WR blue with gold wheels that to be honest I have done to death.
The wheel arch extensions look like they were forgotten about and there is even more blue interior than before which in my opinion makes it impossible to choose another colour.
I also prefer the black interior in the WR1 as I think the silver looks a little cheap and nasty.
Its the best fun I`ve had for £30k simple really.
I have only seen another one on the road and the car draws more attention than any other car I`ve owned.
I`m spending a little this week for some nice in-car kit and then I will probably change the suspension. Its not something that most people will do but I want to and thats all that matters as its my car
Not sure which route to take with that yet.
Plenty of time.
The fact is the car does what it says on the tin.
Its a great credit to Prodrive and Subaru.
I only hope they dont de-value it by making more ice blue cars
To compare is easy it handles the same as my old STI but suffers from a totally different driving experience due to the diff and the way the car distributes its power to its four wheels.
You need to drive it very differently IMHO to any other Impreza I`ve owned.
Far more rear wheel drive biased depending on where you put the diff position.
Wears the front tyres far less .
More of a get it turned and plant your foot type car than a "hang on all round the corner" with screeching understeer.
It will understeer a little but works far better with a slow in fast out approach.
I dont know of many all-wheel drive cars that dont understeer a little.
My mates MR340 does even in the dry and thats got far stickier tyres on it than the Wr1.
When two cars are compared they should always have the same tyres on for starters.
I think there will be a few folk who have waited for the 95 car thinking its radically different etc who will have wished they had bought a Wr1.

Personally I love the colour of the WR1 but the mesh is an aquired taste. The wheels are really nice too

Having been fortunate to have a go in a WR1 and owning an STi8 with PPP, the only similarity is the chronic understeer . Apart from that a different beast completely.
Lovely car mate (wish I had waited for one now!!!)

If your passing Huntingdon at any time pop in and I`ll show you that understeer is not an issue and it doesn`t drive anything like an STI8 or 7

I`ll stick with the standard one
I think you can go a little overboard with the bolt ons if you get my drift
Bring your car down and and I`ll show you how to drive it.
remember slow in fast out
Oh and you better leave that diff control in AUTO hadn`t you
Leave that for the men.

But if you read what I said, I said that is the ONLY similarity IS the understeer and then said that the STi8 with PPP is a pale imitation and wish I had waited for the WR1.
You don't need to convince me that the WR1 is the better of the 2 cars, been there driven both and was gutted I didn't wait.
