New Blue leather interior...
Hi Guy's
I Have been Asked by a Local Company in Essex ( Concept Vehicle Interiors Ltd) To be a Show car for them ..
They are Offering me a very Good Deal on full leather Interior & the option of a Suede Dash Just like in The Subaru WRC Cars
If this Go's Ahead Will also Be Good Discounts For Scoobynet Peeps , Sidc Members & Of Course Essex Scooby Crew Members
I'am Thinking of Blue / Black Leather for the Seats With a Blue / Black Suede Dash To Match
Anyone Done this ? Any pics Please ?
Will i slide about on the Leather ?
Willit Be Cold in the Winter ?
I'm deff doing this Just to be a Bit Different , Wil of Course Post Pics , Before , After & During the Trimming
Any Comments Appreciated
Thanx Tiny ...

This sounds very kool.
It all depends on what type of leather it is to wether or not you will slide out of the seat, but thats what the seat bolsters are for. and as for heading...thats what headted seats are for.

Morning mate.
Have a look at mine on Saturday, the guy I bought the car from had leather added as an option from Subaru.
To try and answer a couple of your questions,
Due to the lumbar support of the seats I have not found that I silde around at all. I have driven a Focus with leather seats and slid around like a C*nt so know what you mean.
It is only just starting to get cold now so getting into my car with just a shirt on does feel a bit cold, but it soon warms up. when it is properly cold you'll probably wear a jumper or even a coat so you'll have a good layer between you and the leather (will not feel the cold!)
The best thing is that it is hard wearing and as you say not may have it done!
Speak to you on Saturday if you like, let you know the costs etc then.

Otherwise I am intrigued as to how it will look, I did start to look into this myself (doing this as an extra sideline to our usual work), but it looked to me like it would be damn expensive to accomplish.

I have a full leather interior...Not a problem in the front, but the back seat do slide a lot!!!!Once I took a roundabout a bit too quick, my sister who was sitting at the back slid from one side to the other of the car and actually smashed her head through my window!!!I didn't realize that she was not wearing her seatbelt...So make sure they always wear their seatbelt in the back

Like this......
And before anyone asks, the flocked dash was already done when I bought the car. A credit to the last owner! If you do get it done then my advice would be to get the door cards done also (Not all over, just the grey bits along the top etc)
It's easy to clean too. Just one of those sticky dandruff removers does the trick

Put a tea light under it & you have the ultimate luxury of heated seats.
