your engine may look dirty in the first pic,but at least its protected by the factory applied wax.
Unless you are gonna stay on top of it,you are entering a whole new world of corrosion and furry aluminium
It beats me why people insist on doing this, particularly with winter approaching.....you have obviously never owned a Jap motorcycle, those things start to corrode at the first sign of a dark cloud!!

As said before....I am aiming to keep it looking like this.

The CD-2 somes with an engine detailer that protects the engine in the same way as the factory applied wax.
Good job by the way, I can't fault the stuff

What do you do with this CD-2 stuff, do you just spray it on and wipe off, or do you spray it on and hose off with water??
Did you protect any of the electics?
By the way, your engine now looks the mutts nutts.

Same as above, what electrics do you need to cover as I am doing mine this afternoon.
When you sprayed it on did you us a brush to clean any of the areas or was it as simple as spray on and hose off?
Cheers
Marc
PS Looks very nice

Just spray it on, either jet wash off or hose off, if your using a jet wash be careful if you have a Sti, as the red crackle may come off if your using it at point blank range.
I just cover my induction kit, the intercooler fins and alarm housing and thats it. If you want me to post some pic's, just say
