MY05 WRX SL Crystal Grey Wagon Pictures
Dear all
Find below links to pictures of my just delivered SL wagon in the brand new crystal grey colour which does look fantastic. I have also included some interior pics so those people not familiar with the SL can see what they get.
Rear shot of crystal grey WRX

Front view of WRX SL

Shot of leather interior showing location of heated seat switches

Shot of overall interior

Shot of leather seats

Shot of sunroof and sunroof controls

As Avalyn has said, the car does look good with the new interior. I have seen that the owners manual still refers to the old interior of the car - it does not show the new placement of the electric mirror switches for example, well certainly not in my manual. As for driving, I'm still running in so will post when I am more experienced and can advise my thoughts, and compare it to my previous 993 and indeed my previous MY00.
Then of course comes the PPP!!!!
Andy

Whilst your new car does look very nice I am confused as to how it can be a MY05. Unless you have access to a time machine, surely the year of manufacture is 2004?
Silver does look good though

Yay .... looks great mightyvid ... you certainly have good taste in cars
Looks lighter than I was expecting (I was expecting more anthracite end than silver end if that makes sense) but is nice.
Your shot of the centre console (on my screen anyway) is a better representation of the colour of it than my photo but I'm glad you agree the interior has been much improved
Rusty I'm not sure how Subaru works it out but both mightyvid and myself have MY05 spec cars. Have a look on the subaru website under news title 'Unexpected Upgrades for 2005 Impreza Range' ..
How does it feel so far ?
Avalyn.

The pictures do not do the colour justice - park it next to silver and you will see the difference between the two - it is more grey but very nice and subtle.
Rusty - these are MY05 cars, which means the model year is designated MY05 even though they are made and sold in 2004. It;s like your magazines - they come out mid-August as a September edition - this is the same, with all manufacturers, juest happens earlier...
Off to buy accessories now!

Thanks again - loving it already although few issues so far. The steering wheel is slightly off centre (ie when the wheels are straight the wheel is at a slight kink), the drivers wiper blade is shocking and smears the glass badly, there is one very small rattle in the rear, but that is it at the moment. Going to wait for my SIDC membership to come though and then I'll look for discounts on PPP. Now have the stereo installed and had the issues with the speakers (new door panel - see thread in ICE) but looking good.

Like waiting for christmas !
Andy
Spoke to dealer last week they should have a confirmed delivery date given to them next Thursday, should be before the end of the month !
Its like being 6yrs old and waiting for Christmas Day.
Its bad for me because I am one of those weird people who have ordered one having never even driven an STi. ( I didn't even sit in yours honest!)
The good news is the dealer principle is on holiday next week and our mutual friend has said I can borrow an 04 STi for two days, I am already planning the route.
I'll keep you posted

That colour is really sound. I have ordered an 05 WRX SL in silver - regreting it now. Is the leather continued on the door panelling, or is it cloth?
Have you heard any news about the PPP also. I presume it will be the same as for the 04.
Cheers
