The Quater of a million pounds were spent on:
The Monster 900BHP motor twin turbo that it has under the hood
FULL Carbon fiber interior
2000 watt pioneer speakers
Navigation system (costs 2000 pounds with e-mail, etc etc...)
Engine chip
Brembo drilled braking kit
+ the car's performance is built by CUSCO
Cusco suspension, flywheel, L.S.D, fuel management system, Air intake system, boosts etc...
Now you believe me?
The car was imported direct from Japan!!!

LOL Love the way you say '900bhp monster twin turbo' - and then 'engine chip'.
Somehow I'd have thought the original ECU would struggle to run a 900bhp engine on its standard map
What's the engine based on, then? I'm not aware of a single component of the EJ2x series that wouldn't need replacing at that level.

Are you sure it was 250k? seems quite high as the car is worth say 12 max, the body kit and stickers will be no more than 1500, carbon interior will be about 2.5k (I have lots of carbon interior stuff now and its not that pricey ) and a 500 bhp engine from one of the australian tuners would only be 15k. Even with the extra power I can't see it costing more than about 60-70k

He said it was $250 not £'s so thats around £125k, i've seen a 'P' plate rally car valued @ £100k, well used, yes its an ex Prodrive car but its still big money.
The one previous carefull owner was Carlos Sainz.
We all tend to add a bit onto figures, i think he is guilty of doing a bit of this.
