Request- 'Classic' shape- AVCR solenoid and map sensor install pics?
hi.
tempted to do mine- but dont want to muck it up
any under-bonnet pics of where you have installed the solenoid and map sensor would be very helpful

basically- ANYONE with an AVCR installed, can you send me a pic or two close up of where and how you have installed your solenoid , and map sensor..

I cant do pics, the wife has buggered off on hols with my digi camera, but basically they are installed where the OEM ones were. Remove the huge bracket that hangs on the suspension turret and install the new stuff there. Mine is actually screwed onto the inner wing rather than the suspension turret, but end up in the same place if you know what I mean.

on pic2, any chance of another shot thats not zoomed in so far..?
want to see exactly where you have put it, and the sundry parts in the shot (and the angle) make it hard to judge exactly where it is

Ill try and get a pic of the complete engine standing a bit further back to show where the pipes of the solenoid connect to on actuator and compressor side and also on the solenoide itself.

that would be great mate as I really want to fit the solenoid and map sensor on saturday in preparation for completing the install/setup on sunday with Pavlo's help..

heres some pics of my AVCR Install. Its mounted on the original solenoid Bracket, I had to make a plate up so it could be mounted there but its really easy. The little black presure thing was mounted on to my Air Filter bracket.
