Nice car Trickie - love 238’s on a Scoob.

Agree with fatman – It’s definitely an STI6 spoiler – You see loads of them incorrectly advertised on the net as 22b style - nothing at all wrong with a STI6 though, we are just being politically correct!!

If you want to get picky i'd check the grammar of your last post.... the " marks are in the wrong place . Should have been..... learn to spell "GET them off" .

And just to add that is a version 6 spoiler, NOT 22b style. Think whoever told you that has never seen a 22b.

Tony.

P.s Get them lights off

Not a lot mate..

Changed the wheels rear lights and fitted the boot spoiler,I am looking to have the speed limiter taken off,Then i might look at a few engine mods.

Wots the best way to remove the limiter ?

ECU remap or Speed jumper?

Only pulling your leg !!!!

For your age of car you can't go much wrong with a scooby ecu. This is an eprom chip that fits into the standard ecu and will adjust boost (i.e more), fuel and ignition to suit UK fuel. Also gets rid of the speed limiter..... all for a mdest £100. Have a look in the scoobynet shop.... or find David Wallis or Pavlo on the board.

Tony.

P.S Seriously ditch those lights

Hello Trickie

Good looking job there....

I'm just getting my alloys re-furb'd and going to post a few piccys too.. and a clean n polish

Have to agree with others here mate, Take them rear lights off.... I haven't met any scooby owning peeps who have liked em....

IMO make the car look 'max powered' or 'Nova powered'.. albiet If they have to be on a Scooby ... Silver is best colour to go with them 'orrible things..

This is just 'our' opinions mate and if you like them then its your car after all

REF Speed limiter, Have you got a KMH speedo? If so you can fit a 5/8 convertor.. some on ebay at mo... this will then make the KPH numbers into MPH numbers and also get rid of speed limiter as well. Just goes into speedo cable circuit between gearbox and speedo, there is a join about 6 inches from gearbox, just pull that apart, fit convertor to one end and plug other end into it... As the speedo is now only going to 5/8 of what it used too, it doesn't send signal to ECU to cut fuel... Hope this makes sense

180KPH / 8 * 5 = 112.5MPH Fuel cut point too...

Cheers

Rob
