v. nice

What wheels, and do you have a photo from the side? I'd written off the idea of gold alloys (bit obvious), but they do look smart on yours.

Cheers mate

Speedline Turini wheels, 18x8. The same as ExPugs wheels in silver on the Scott Lowe splitter thread.

They're gorgeous when clean and shiny like that, these black cars. I like the tints too!

You're right mate, so glad I bought black this time. I had WR Blue last time and although it looked great, when these black/gold cars are clean they look stunning.

I just need that splitter now I've seen it on your car Damn you

Tints are Pentagon Smoke btw.

oh, and thanks for the wheel info. I'd asked ex-pug too. Seems I like the look of the speedlines in the flesh. Didn't seem to rate them in brochures, looked a bit 'heavy'. But not in reality it seems.

did you get a good deal? What tyre size goes with that?

Andy, mrklaw You both have a PM.

The mesh sits flush as above. I seated the mesh further back on my last car so fancied a change on this one. It looks MUCH better in the flesh. I just need the splitter now

I thought the same as you when I considered buying one of the first sets of Turinis about 3 years ago. I thought he spokes were very spindly compared to the Prodrive OZ's. However I was persuaded to go for them by Trouser@TSL who had seen a set in the flesh. It was the best decision I ever made. The Turini wheels suit the Impreza perfectly. Correct tyre size is 225/40/ZR18. These wheels are now officially available from Subaru but they charge the earth. Scoobyworld do them on package rates as do TSL-Motosposrt.

Yep either Scotts carbon version or the genuine STi item.

Will finish off the front end nicely.

Then I need to do something more with the power

I'm so glad i got the black too....if you've not seen a well polished one in the bright sun, you must...the black virtually disappears!!!...can't get used to having gold wheels though, i like the titanium finish that comes as standard on the WRX

Wink

Some of us like the John Player Special look

Besides, gold fleck and gold calipers = gold wheels
