Quality pics again, how do you do it!
Do you make any money from the website? I've considered it but now I've moved out it would need quite a cash injection, ie I have no pooter or phone line or **** all!!!

Hey Bob,
Thanks, Did you go to the Malcom Wilson this weekend? I was thinking of doing the Malcom Wilson on Sat and then drive down to Epynt for the Sunday.
But from Plymouth that is one hell of a weekends driving.
Re website, I don't really make any money from it, I get quite a few drivers asking for pics for websites. For low res pics I don't charge as they have enough expenses of there own, I just ask them to make a small donation to a cancer charity and most are more than happy to stick a couple of quid in a donation box.
Paul, Thanks, I use a Canon 10D with a 28-135 IS Canon lense and a great deal of luck is involved as well.
Forest, It took them about 10 mins and a renault 19 with rope to get the car from the ditch. He left with his spoiler on the car, but only just I think

Hey, yeah we did the MW, we had a good day...saw a Lada drive up a tree I had briefly considered the Robin Hood stages near Mansfield for the sunday but was that knackered I didn't bother! I keep forgetting to buy film, doh! I only have 15 shots form MW, it does mean I've finished the last roll from Sveeeeeeden though and it was nice to actually see some cars for a change

love this one with the bloke trying to nick the spoiler on the STI7!!!
Chris, it's easy to get cars to levitate when you're standing next to the leaps, it just sorta happens all by itself
Good pics BTW Springbok, look forward to seeing the results of your next trip into the woods.

Yup it was / still is a WRC Impreza. It took the guys about 10-15 mins to get the car out, it was well and truly beached, I have a sequence of 5 shots showing it entering the 90 right straight on until it landed in the bank.
A tow rope and a Renualt 19 soon sorted it out
For levitating cars I string out and invisible net to catch the little buggers mid jump
or I use the chicken mode on my camera "sport" which uses the fatest shuuter speed available. Does look a bit weird.
I have been trying to use a slower shutter speed to blur the background whilst tracking the car (panning) to keep it in focus, It's not very easy.

Hi Springbok, hows it going??
Quality pics as usual, but I would have thought that, in the pic of everyone trying to pull the beached scooby out of the ditch, the driver could have just hopped into the silver scooby in the background and won the rally (unless of course it was yours and you've changed your car ??)

superb photos, absolutely stunning. Have you approached any of the motorsport mags to see if they want some freelance work from you, because these are top notch bits of work..

Hey Matt, long time no hear, no the new Impreza is not mine unfortunately.
Dave, Thanks, no I haven;t approached any motorsport mags, to be honest there are so many snappers out on events both pro and non it would be hard to make any money out of it. I do give photo's to competitors if they ask and just ask them to make a small donation to a charity.
