new Flaps Pics :-)
Got my new flaps on from Scott Lowe...
Definitetly needed them, the sills were getting really pitted...
What do you think...
The Ikea car park made a good photo shoot! Although the missuse was stood holding a large plant!
THX to Scott for the tips on fitting... But still dropped a clip down the back of the sill Was a Ba$$td to get out...
And then got one of the plastic type not holders cross threaded and it wouldn't screw in or out Bolt croppers time... anyhow a little tip if you put some of Scotts flaps on... Use sellotape and attatche it to the clip first... then tape it in place on the wing over the hole. was much easier then..

Very nice mate, we had the same problem when fitting my mudflaps, dropped the clip and had a mission getting it back.
Still, the end result is well worth it.
Nice car.

The pipe is the prodrive one that you get with the PPP Kit Sounds lovely, not too load but nice when you want it!
OZ graphics are actualy from Halfords believe it or not!!!!
Man those flaps are good at stopping the crap on the car... I was forever cleaning the sides and we have a loose tarmac road to my house... I used to cringe every time i went down it!

if you look you can see the pitting on the door...
That was before i gave it 20 mins woth of polish!
note the tape holding the clips... if they would have fallen in again i'd have had to down tools and have a pint to calm down!

More necesity "spelling" than anything esle but now there on; yep i agree it looks really nice... got my m8 to drive it past me and it makes the car look squat and more purposefull if you know what I saying...
Flaps are good quality too, flexible and strong with good brackets. but so long as they protect the sides thats all I was after...
Well pleased with the look though. yr right it does set the car off!

I havent seen the official Subaru flaps so I cant really comment on them ... but I am very impressed with the quality of the flaps from Scott.
At the end of the day my STi is my pride and joy and if I felt the quality was poor I wouldnt have fitted them to the car.
You wont be dissapointed scoobymy01
Cheers

Dazza,
Just ordered some after seeing this post, same as yours blue with decals.
Looks well smart.
Should keep the cack off the doors as well.
Any other tips for fitting other than gaffer tape on the inserts, will prob be fitting in the rain so time is a factor

quick question for you guys. I've just recived my flaps from Scott;blue to go on WRBlue 03 Sti. How good was the colour match between your flaps and paint? Looks good in the pictures. The ones I have seem to be a lighter shade than the paint. Am I just being decived by the photos?
