For me could not see beyond VW golfs... still can't really with the exception of the odd Scooby.. what did you lot drive before your current car? C'mon could be funy if we all ended up starting with GTi's! ;D

Cav SRi.... but only because a dippy stoodint smacked into my still beloved GTi, Corolla GTi-16 that is (someone eventually drove it away for £350 despite the damage)! i have pics, but not digital - will post if i find time to scan a couple.

ps. having said that he probably did me a favour - i wouldn't have the Scoob today if the Toyota was still goin strong. although, i'm sure i'd have more money in my pocket :S

My current car and second car when I had a WRX is a 8v 1989 Gti.
STi type R is on the boat from Japan.
Also had a 88 Gti about 5 years ago.
I find the golf a bit of a drag on the long motorway runs that I have to do, but for speed with fairly good fuel economy - I love it

Never drove a VW - and hopefully never will...

My last car before my Sti V Type R was a Vauxhall astra Gsi, with a calibra turbo lump and six speed box conversion, traction was terrible. Much improved now

Another VW man here - though I wouldnt have another new one.
After a couple of Polos had a Beetle - ITS NOT GIRLY< - REALLY IT ISNT 
Just before I got rid of it for the WRX with the stock wheels on (19s had been nicked [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]) and before I sold the plate:

Still love VeeDubs though.. nearly bought a Golf Rallye the other day

but one problem! i'm 19 and have had my licience for 1yr and 1 months on fully comp and no accidents! period
