Cheers Ian.... looks like a top quality job there

Well done Supertouring..... that looks as if it is the grill matey, a little more prominant than i was expecting but a welcome change to the £10 peice of black plastic that is there at the moment

I have a grill in the lower half hand made i shall add
That is left silver..... but i think i shall get the top one coloured black to start with then maybe remove the lower and spray that also......

I shall post some pics when it is sorted thanks for your help gents
Here are a few as it is at the moment

Hi everyone,

Just got hold of a new mesh upper grill to replace the original plastic one
http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/trolleyed/29/index.htm
With this going on a silver car do you think it may be good to colour the mesh black ?????
Just thinking it may be to much of the same colour.....
silver car, silver grill..... what do you all think ??
A few pics would be great to get some ideas from.

Cheers
Simon

Looking at this at the moment if anyone is interested in Swissol

The silver grilles look great on the blue bugeyes (one of our guys has one), but for a silver one (same as mine) I think black is the order of the day.

Would also love to see pics from anyone with one of these fitted.

If you do paint it black can you post some pics, so I can see if it is worth doing?

It is my dads car, I just post on his behalf because he hasn't got a clue about computers

I know he is looking at getting it de tangoed and some new rear lights. To match the new STi 8 spoiler.

No problem, I was looking for something for my Silver WRX so happy to share my findings.

What grill have you made for under the number plate? I want one that goes into the recess and not one that fits flush with the front of the spoiler. Do you have a pic?

Wink

Nice one Ian...... Get your dads hand in his wallet

Supertouring..... a mate with a scooby made it for me i can't take full credit lol yes just as you want sits back in made from that alloy mesh........ tricky job though, you need to make a card template first then mask all the inside of the recess because of scratching it with the mesh....... i shall see if there is enough daylight left when i get home from work or maybe have to wait until the weekend to take some pics of it.... ok if i mail them to you then that will be the easyest way about it.

Thanks
Simon
