Looks like you're trying on that pic Steve. Wait till I tell Peter that you're posting pics of your car on here, he'll say you're as sad as me! I bet his rally car will get a few airings though!

Spot on kev thanks very much and mark you'll never know how much l was hanging on to her,for my first ever track session it was unbelievable and it's totally standard suspension although as l came off the track the brakes were virtually non existant. But a good time was had by all.........
Not the last track day l'll be at thats for sure, bigger brakes, got them, better suspension, got them, now all l need are bigger wheels and stickier tyres.........Cheers all Steve......

Talbot Steve,
I was one of the few Legacy's at the show with you... stopped by the gate and exchanged 'hellos' with you (Green Saloon)
Would be interested in hearing about your experiences in taking her around the track and what suspen/brakes you have upgraded to.....
I was very nearly tempted to take mine out, but wanted to changed the springs first........
Will defo be having ago the next time!!!!
Cheers
Phil

Phil l remember your car wasn't it the one with the different rear spoiler, and parked almost across from where l was.And l remember seing you as we were moving out.As for what the legacy was like and will be here goes.On the day about the only thing modified was the exhaust and steering wheel, the suspension and brakes were as standard however the rs comes with vented rear disc's also.l was absolutely amazed at how well she handled out of the box, left foot braking helped enormously with turn in into the corners, but she still road very flat with only little body roll(some pics show a bit more than a little but from inside it felt very stable).
The brakes were still biting well up to the last lap and only fadded after we left the track and there was no airflow. How to improve l really don't know but l'd already bought a set of tein(secondhand)fully adjustable suspension and some standard subaru impreza 4-pots,discs and pads.l'm undecide on the suspension at the moment,l will fit it just to see what it's like but it will have a lot to live up to.As for the brakes they are a must, the only problem is they won't fit under my wheel's so l think an upgrade to 17" will be iminent,it's just to keep it looking like a rally car the options on the wheel front are limited.Oh and the tyres which l really can't fault were TOYO'S absolutely spot on,as they say.........lf there's any thing else you want to know about the legacy get in touch and l'll see what l can remember......
Cheers Steve.......

Well, wouldn't really call it different (but thank you.. I think) it is the standard spoiler on legs. does make it look a little different..... have been considering something, but haven't yet found one that looks 'quite right'.
think I was parked across and up a bit (with all the welsh flags in the ground.
I'm annoyed with myself that I missed you on the track..... I had a friend, keeo reminding me to look out for you.... but missed!! d'oh
Glad to hear you had fun.... sounds like you had a successfuly number of laps with the little modifications you have done...
I've recently upgraded my brakes to 325mm disks with brembo 4pots.... I've had vented disks on the rear since i've had the car... 2 1/2 years...
WOW they don't arf stop me!! MUCH better than the standard ones...
Braided hoses ALL round aswell!! a must!!
Did want larger disks, but have Prodrive speedlines and was restricted.... had to have 2mm spacer to stop wheel from rubbing the caliper...
I've got some lowering springs on their way to me as we speak and wanted to see what these would do before I delv into getting all round suspension..
Am keen to get out on the track and see what it'll do..... would be good to have more than one leggy on there at a time to see how they compare...
Have got a few mods to mine other than the brakes.... decat, ind kit and chip... pushing the power up a bit..
... it's pretty quick when it's needed...
Marvelous car !!!!
Cheers

sounds like a great drivers car just wish l could have afforded bigger brakes(lighter ones as well really have you felt the weight of subaru 4-pots).l'm not sure of the next step but l always wanted to build a good rothmans replica rallycar full cage ect but we'll see as l don't really want to spoil this one (its nice when l can just jump in and go to work )maybe just a decent pair of seats and belts........oh well see ya steve........

not 100% sure, can't find any spec on my dad's version, it does have STI strut braces front & rear, gearing is alot lower & i'm guessing the ECU is different aswell
