Just got back from a fantastic trip from Munich (where I live) through Austria, Liechtenstein to Switzerland to a place called Interlaken (Friday). Saturday we went up into the mountains, then Sunday driving through some unbelievable mountain passes before returning home again. 1100km in 3 days but great fun!
Check out the photos, especially the mountain pass roads near the end of the slideshow (or go backwards or better still, use the Film Strip option). Also we found a vintage car convoy, so we had to take some snaps of them too .
My pics
Anyone own up to the silver Swiss-registered MY01/2 STi in the pictures?
Cheers
Richard
ps Ignore the pictures of my parents in one or two of the photos

nice rich! I tell you what - the ice flows are looking pretty sad these days... We have photos from around 15 yrs ago when I went to the same place with my folks - the snow didnt have so much black crap on it and I rmember the flows being much larger and longer... Oh well. Nice to see you having a good trip though.

Just a sample for those who can't see the website:
And my Scoob admiring the view :
These roads were great fun!
Is this you?
A great trip!
And well identified... it is Wengen, Jungfraujoch etc. Though you're right, Neal, the glaciers are well down in size this year...

Hey bitten, that is so wierd, I went to Jungrau in March snowboarding and we had quite a lot of snow so as you can imagine everything was covered in snow. One idiot from our group went up to the revolving restaurant and then he decided he would snowboard down the glacier!!!! The snowboard instructors had a look of horror on their faces when he told them about it lol
