if this works as fotopic's a PITA
a few pics before and after I did springs, grille etc
they are 17"-ers with std size 215/45*17 tyres on
I went for them as they seemed stronger than superL's (and I think OZ ones look spindly / weak) as well as the reports of people dinging the SLs "easily"
make sure you use the nuts supplied if you get a set as the contact patches are wrong with the OE nuts...

PS if you look back in the Megabusa mudflaps thread, there's some more piccies when they were new (to see the shine on them )

That looks f***in sweet mate. Just what i want, i agree with the SL's as a mate has a set on a type r and hes warned me away
Are they Eibach springs you've got on. I may not bother with 18's and just go for 17's and Eibachs
Thanks again though mate, that really does look nice. I was gonna go for the silver alloys but them gold ones look tasty

Ta for the comments
They're Prodrive springs on - I ummed and aahhhed for ages between eibachs and prodrives (even though they're made by eibach) and eventually chose the prodrives - for the first couple of days you wonder if it's been a good idea and count your teeth in and out but you get used to them - the ride is good if you keep out of the potholes and the handling is great compared to std springs (I've also got the Powerflex rear droplinks which helps make things a bit tauter as well )

if you want to see piccies of 18"s, have a search for turini and Mr.Manchester (it's going back a while) but he had a set on - they look good but I didn't want lower profile tyres with the cr*p roads round here
there's a couple of lads with clio 172 / sports (?) at work - they have 16" silver ones as standard and they look dinky compared to 17"s

Did the droplinks make a difference to the back end when cornering or didn't you notice any difference.
Spose if you changed your springs at the same time then you prolly wouldn't notice
How much lower did the Prodrive springs make it 30mm?

I did the droplinks a while before the springs - they don't alter the rate for the ARB but make the effects come in quicker and you notice the difference when they're fitted (for a few days until you get used to them...)
the back end seems to roll less on corners and keeps the car flatter - it's not a massive amount, i.e. flat at any speed but an improvement
AFAIR from the official blurb, the springs drop the front approx 1.3" (30mm) and the rears 1" (25mm). I had them fitted at Powerstation and their car park is a bit rough so it wasn't the best introduction for my dad who didn't think there was anything wrong with the standard springs...
Convinced him of their benefit and the geometry setup when I had to anchor on on the way home and it stopped perfectly straight

PS Nathan - you ought to lengthen the towrope to the silver wagon or is it pecking order
