Nissan 300zx
#1
Ok it's not a Scoob but I am an ex-Scoob'ist (twice over) and intend to have another in the near future !
But for now, here is my freshly imported (8/7/3) Nissan 300zx.
It's twin turbo, leather, manual. 300bhp standard and rwd so it should be good fun .....have to wait to get it registered though ....
I like the looks of it, what do you think? Medallion man or sports cruiser?

thx for the kind comments , it's no Scoob but it'll do for now.
I sold me scoob so i could have a stab at importing but didnt want to spend alot, 1st time and all that etc...it cost alot less than what I sold my 94 wrx for...which is a good job as i've since found out i'm being made redundant , hopefully i wont have to sell it as there isnt alot of money in the car.
yep it's got aircon, in fact it's like being on the bridge of the Enterprise once your sat inside it...there's millions of buttons n switches to play with .
Money, drop me a mail at chris678472@yahoo.co.uk I'll answer your questions as best as i can, no probs.

Sorry, no brake pics, I'm not sure whether they're 2 or 4 pots at the front tbh .
If anyone wants more info just mail me at the above email address I'll be happy to point you in the direction of the guy i imported from.

Good stuff mate! You wanna have a chat with XT who picked up his 300ZX NA a few weeks back!
Know what the waiting game is like - I've been waiting 2 weeks for my Supra to be registered, which is 10 miles down the road and ready and thus teasing me!!, only another 2 to go - 1st Aug

Dunno yet m8, not had much chance to drive it yet !
I like the way it looks, all of the toys it has, plus its rarity...i hope and imagine it will go well too. Book speeds are 5.5s 0-60mph and limited to 155mph (although this will be limited to 112mph being a jap import). I love rwd cars although i'm not sure how easy it will be slide as it has 255s on the back .
Nowhere near as nice sounding as a scoob but then again it has standard pipes on it...

LegacyTurbs, thanks for the offer but due to redundancy (see above) I've got to be v.careful money wise at the mo'...thx anyway.
Psycho, yep twin turbos ...I had a quick blast in it yesterday (bit naughty really considering it's not registered yet, but it was on a test track of course ) and boy, does it go well.
It's not standing start demon like the scoob as it's rwd but wow, talk about mid range grunt and torque, it's got bags of it!
But it's all oh so quiet, need to get some decent pipes on it....

Ahhhh The mid range. Takes me back to the days of the 3rd gear scenario!
De-cats can cause serious problems on these mate.
£400 for the bumper ans sideskirts, incase you change your mind as people often do

LegacyTurbs, 10 out of 10 for trying but really i cant spend at the mo' as i'm not 100% sure of whats happening jobs wise, thx anyway!
He Who Dares, they're "Volk Racing" alloys, possibly "Volk Racing AV", split rim type, 17/40/235 front and 17/35/255 rear.
I don't think a scoob would suit them cos i'm sure u'll need the same tyre sizes on all 4 corners?
