I haven't seen ANY of these on the BB.
So I thought I'd post up some pics... I've had it for a week and the grin is Hoooge...!!
Spec is full Prodrive external, internal and engine packs. No other mods (apart from gearbox Barrier lock)
Fotopic site appears to be down at this time... That's why you may be missing some photos!!
Any other WR owners around?

Bah... and you've stolen my pictures too! Where they gone?
Is that a WR Sport or a prodrive upgrade? Reason I ask is that the original picture seems to have the Fogs rather than the PIAa's.
Like the Lights, though... Mmm...

The Sport is based on a UK turbo anyway. 99 in my case..
As for ther seats. Absolutely the dogs to sit in. But they are big and electric... they take some room from the back...
But then again.. I'm not sat in the back....
I know where you are anyway...

Nice looking WRS, one question though... do Prodrive not put their Prodrive WR spoilers on when they do the whole WRS kit??? I may be wrong, but the one above looks like a standard MY99/00 spoiler
One other request - can I see some photos of the badging they apply to your car

Good question... The package that came as standard on the Prodrive Factory WRS is...
Driving enhancement package (Prodrive/Sti suspension kit of Bilstein dampers and Eibach springs (lowered), 17" ST2 Speedline wheels, Quickshift gearchange)
Interior package (Prodrive Recaro sport seats with electric adjustment & rear seats/door inserts in matching trim, aluminium or carbon gearknob (carbon on mine), Prodrive mats)
Exteror package (WR SPort rear spoiler, PIAA driving lights, Colour coded sills+mirrors and orange wedges painted black!)
Performance package (Prodrive ECU, Upgraded intercooler piping, Prodrive stainless steel exhaust backbox and centre section)
Prodrive WR badging and White WR Dials on Factory models only.
The spoiler is a genuine 98 prodrive spoiler (with brake light fitment rather than plain) as far as I can see.
Obviously all the bits can be fitted seperately apart from the white dials and the badging... Take a look at the right rear and side of the car underneath the indicators. There is a square WR Logo with a 'Prodrive Impreza' badging on the left rear. The white dials have the words WR Sport emblazened just under the LCD display.
I'll get better pics of these.... Unless monday Lad beats me to it!

MY98's and before came with the low level spoiler as standard and ProDrive put the same spoiler that MY99's and 00's had.
As MY99's and 00's had this spoiler as standard ProDrive put the higher STI5 looking (not quite thye same as the STi5) spoiler on.
Alan the car looks very very nice, Ive also got a 98 with every think form the WR package apart from the seats
Just one point the WR package didnt include the ProDrdrive performance pack, though i cant imagine anyone spending that much money on the car and not having the PPP fited as well

Yeah, does seem strange that folk would go for exterior and internal mods but not the engine... I've heard figures that the whole package cost £10k..
Seems that the seats are a little rare... have you had the white dial facia done as well?

No my car hasnt got the seats so its not a WR
Was this car for sale at Well lane ?? they had one a while back and its the only one ive ever seen.
The reason I bought my car was because Id been looking for a WRSport but couldnt find one anywhere, my car has had the PPP, external mods and the drivers package ...like i said everything apart from the seats.

Thanks for the info.
Reason I asked about the spoiler is that I have had pretty much all the Prodrive toys added to my silver MY00, including the STi5 WR spoiler, PPP, suspensions etc (though obviously NOT the interior
), and I was wondering if I could get hold of the WRS badging from somewhere - hence the pic request

Yep, its the one from Well Lane. I previously had a 94 WRX and was on this BB for many moons.. I left after the car was nicked ... only to returnm some tme later! But I've not seen any others around..Here or on the road... I know Monday Lads got one and will be posting, but no one else has come forward. I beleive that only 100 were mde at the factory, with all the bits (minus the fascia) available as aftermarket.
I'm happy with that as it should keep the residual up!!

First owner had them fitted along with piaa's
plus ice detector thingy ang cruise control??????
getting a ppp and prodive rear wing later this year hopfully, I was gonna get a STi8 but I'm still in love

Thanks Alan C , I was a bit late on the private sale but will try prodrive again tommorow and try badger them into selling me a pair, I've got ppp and shortly php, if they can't sell me a couple of prodrive mats without me paying 3k for the pip then i'll be dissapointed.

MM they wont sell you mats they are part of the package. I tried asking my dealership who inturn asked Prodrive who said emphatically NO!!!!
By the way Prodrive will tell you to approach your dealer and not them directly in future
