Right, got the digital camera, washed the car up a bit so I thought I'd post a few piccies up of my MY95
The car is soon to have a MY00 front end so will look very different (hopefully better)
People talk about high mileage scooby's, mine has done 170,000!!!!
Still looking pretty good though
Edited to put smaller size pics on

Sonic
Are you from the Rainhill area then??
I've seen a Sonic Blue car quite a few times now, think I have seen you using the Shell garage in Rainhill Stoops
At this rate the roads round here will be over running with Scooby's

Not Rainhill, but just the other side in St Helens literally
I live about a mile from the Shell Garage which is really handy, as its one of the cheapest too
There is a Yellow WRX / STi knocking about round here too, and a Silver Wagon went past yesterday too
Seen a few more in Mainland too, that I havent seen before, so there are plenty of us it would seem

Hello Paul,
Long time no see, the last time we spoke your car was in intensive care. I take it she pulled through then .
That Shell garage at Rainhill does well out of us!, I use it too.
PS. You should tell everybody that you car has done 170000mls but you have re-placed everthing except the ciggie lighter.

Thanks to Mainland in Widnes it pulled through okay. They replaced both rocker gasket covers and a couple of oil seals and it's been fine ever since. Joys of high mileage cars I suppose.
The car has just been back to Mainland as the exhaust heat shield was rattling so thats been sorted, car is mint now.
I can't praise Mainland enough, top quality job everytime!!
Had it chipped by David Wallis a few weeks ago and now should be running 280BHP (although with full decat it may be closer to 290BHP)
Decided to keep the car and update the front-end to the 2000 model with STI badges etc
Once I'm happy with the front end I'll be out on the meets so I'll catch up with you there!!!!
By the way I've seen what Rob O'Neill has done to your car....looking good mate!!!
Get that ironing board of the back and some skirts on and you'll have yourself a monster motor

Not sure what I'm doing with the bonnet yet!!
If I buy the front-end parts from Grade-A then I may trade in my existing parts
However, my bonnet is the lightweight aluminium bonnet so if sell it I'll be looking for a bit more for it
Cheers

Cheers mate
Can I ask how much you paid for the parts, I have had some differing prices
What year is your car and did you go for the 2000 front??
Cheers mate

right i have a 94 jdm impreza,
lights wise i fitted 00 spec crystal ones. I was really lucky and got emailed by a guy off here when i expressed an interest so got them for 110 quid with protectors too.
Grill i decided not to go for standard (which are about 50 quid iirc) so bought a tsl wrc one which i have since modified to be similar to sti6 one.
Bonnet is carbonfibre and i havent finished fitting it yet as it needs bonnet pins. I imported this from the us myself so wasnt too bad.
heres a pic of the lights and grill when i first fitted them , b4 grill was modded and painted. Will get some new ones when the bonnet is on.
