A friend of mine takes pictures of sports stadia in an interesting style

He's found a love of scoobies from my car and those of the others from the Flat Four Club who've cruised to Brighton and Southend and taken a few photo's of a couple in the same style.

Nev's Scoob website

Mine's the blue classic

These aren't digital - they're pix from a normal camera he pieces together then scans in.

The originals, which he sells mounted on board, are excellent. I've got one he did of Wembley stadium on my wall and they're very big and very good

Drop him an e-mail if you want one of your car...

thanks ken...!! I'd sent him an e-mail asking for the direct location of the images, but I guess /images was a pretty obvious guess! Cheers

Avi - go on then. It's harder than it looks to get the overlap so it looks just right - I've tried it and I've seen lots of people who think they were good at it try it, too.
Anyone can take a 'normal' photo, as well. Some people are professionals and get paid to do so.
Anyone can do pix like this, but how many do compared to just a normal point and click.

Jack - from Ayelsbury, right? I met Nev through football a few years back. I'll pass the message on.
I have given him the link to this thread, but I don't think he's signed up as a member of scoobynet yet

You should give it a try, it's good fun. The trick is, I've been told many times and can see in Nev's pictures, to get as much overlap as possible on the pictures.

I never seem to get it right, I move the camera too much for each shot and get gaps or virtually no overlap and it looks terrible.

Good luck.

pics!!!
Should be relitively easy to get a good effect as long as you use a tripod and as said dont pant too much between shots, to get a good overlap.

A panorama of mine (done with a digital camera) is here

Actually it doesn't stitch together too well

Warning -- 3.15MB

mental, just for the sheer scale! But my screens not big enough to see where it's meant to stitch together, so you got away with it!

I really like the non-digital panorama stuff. There's just something a bit more interesting about it...

For some good digital stuff have a look at http://www.panoramas.dk

Well what was cool about mine is that it was taken from the revolving restaurant in the BT Tower. Set the camera to take one pic a minute, then just left it on the window ledge for a complete revolution

Not so easy to do it the 'normal' way on my camera because the tripod mount isn't on the same axis as the CCD
