My First Subaru
#6
No immediate plans. As I have never owned a Subaru (had Land Rovers for the past ten years) I will have to spend some time learning about the car and then I will look into any suitable discrete modifications, which will most probably be limited to the engine, suspension and brakes. I doubt very much that I will do any thing to the bodywork.

richrussell: Well, you’ve got me there; I just thought that the lights in the bumper were a set of fogs and a set of aux driving lights!
I will be at Sparshatts tomorrow sorting out the final arrangements for collecting the car, so I will check with them and then let you know.
Regards

Heh - the outer lights next to the foglights are 'cornering lights' on Jap spec Legacy GTB etc.
The reason I ask is that on my GTB I don't have a bulb holder in my nearside one - and I suspect that the original unit got broken (hit a stone?) and they've replaced it with a UK spec Legacy 4Cam one - which I think just has a bulb in the foglight, and nothing but a reflector in the cornering lights.
Of course I'd like to fit a bulb holder in there so it matches my driver's side one, and re-enable the cornering lights!
