Spent a bit of time cleaning the car last Monday, it was sorely in need of it and it got scrubbed top to bottom. Everything apart from the engine bay (this will be getting addressed shortly) is now to a fairly respectable standard. Sadly it has covered some 600 miles since and isn't quite as clean...
Big thanks to Andy C and the other kind chaps who offered advice on how to photograph a white car properly. I waited till evening before taking the pictures so that the sky wasn't as bright as earlier on in the day. The light seems to have caught the left side of the car fairly well, shame i didn't have time to move it around and get some decent snaps of the right side...
Anyway, the pictures! Enjoy.
And just to prove the car does actually have 2 sides....
Modifications;

That's what I call a white car, not that greasy-yellow-full-off-black-spots type, but real clean WHITE, excellent.
PS : Good luck whit the cleaning...

Hey Crush! I dearly wanted to get up to the SIDC trackday last month but ended up in Inverness for a mates birthday. I presume you'll be at the next KH meeting?
Andrew (whitelaw), yup, hopefully it will look a bit better on the car though eh?
I'm really starting to feel kinda satisfied with the cars paint now, like you say Creepy, it's actually white nowadays rather than manky beige with a tar spot or 10,000. Unfortunately it doesn't stay like that for long!
SiDHEad, so do i now mate lol!
Doug, nice to hear from you, i managed to a spoiler in the end lol! How are you getting on with the blue beast? Did the new spoiler ever come through for you?

Thanks guys for all the comments guys! I want your grill btw Micky , wasn't sure whether to wait till i got a MY99/00 one before putting the badge on but in the end i couldn't resist!
Andy, i do plan to get it colour coded (gotta replace a certain restrictive box first ) but i'm not sure how far to go with it. At a minimum i'll get the handles and mirrors done UK MY00 style, still undecided about the skirts atm.
Will mock up a Photoshop of the car without the rear badges later on to see how it looks.

Thanks for the try Paul, convinced me to have a go myself!
Before:
After:
Thoughts? Still undecided myself, and it'd be a pest to stick the badges back on in the right place!

Looks sweet debadged mate, very clean - and lets be honest no one should need a badge on to work out what it is!! It is amazing how much difference the high level spoiler makes your motor look - its the nuts mate!!!
Bet its a beatch to keep clean!

I kinda want it to look as far removed from a UK car as poss so will remove them the next time i'm polishing, they're a magnet for the residue afterall...
It doesn't stay clean for long Dave no...

The spoiler on the table in your house looks a bit sad mate. Couldn't see a photo of the screwdriver that you fitted it with either...that would have been nice. Hope you kept the packaging. You never know when you might need it.
