I agree with the 22B idea too. Has anyone seen that cr@p dvd that came with last months fart car? I only got it because I heard the dvd was supposed to be good Anyway it has a really sweet 4 door impreza on there that has the rear doors welded and smoothed and a wide body 22B kit It looks alot better than it sounds though

Thanks guys, glad Im on the right track. I think the back end does need some more work, and yes, it is going to be tricky. I will put some more ideas up as I manage to draw them (need to get to grips with psp a bit better!)
Im not keen on making a 22B replica, these kits are already available anyway, you should all know by now that I dont do replicas!
The 2001-2002 is going to be a problem too, seeing as I dont own one, even if someone lent me one to work on, I dont think they would be too impressed with the possibility of needing to get some pannels resprayed after Id finished
Anyway, definatley want to keep the front as it is above.
Ill keep you posted.
Cheers, Rob.

What if the rear end was simply widened, as in the whole rear door extended into the rear arch/ quater pannel, similar to the way it is on the 22B? Do you think it looks wrong without the rear handles? It would make fitting alot easier.
Cheers.

a little question as this seems to put me off the idea of wide arched bodykits, what if the manufacturer stops making the kit and ur screwed cus u can't get a replacement if u damage any part of the kit. what do u do?

Hi,
Im thinking of getting started in a couple of weeks time, but it is a massive job and will take quite a while.
Ed, it would probably take a couple of monthe on and off!
With regards to what you would do if the kit is no longer mavufactured, you would need to get the original repaired, remade by a specialist bodyshop, but once Ive got these moulds done, I certainly wont be letting them go.
?vectre GSi? LOL
