hehhe just got very very very depressed today when i came across an old picture of mine with my first car so i thought why dont i zip back up there and take and up to date pic, amazing huh how times change - whats scary is not the difference in the cars , its the bloody difference in the drivers - first one i look like a turtle with no shell and the second , well too much wine and olive oil have take their toll

Like Jen, I'd have been 4 in the first picture, so I'd probably be there on my first bike...

There is a theory about the perception of time...

You percieve the passage of time as a percentage of the life you've already lived - to a 2 year old a year is half a lifetime, whereas to a 40 year old it's 1/40th of a lifetime.

To the 2 year old, it's an eternity, whereas to the 40yr old, it seems over in 10 minutes.

Thats a great idea, and the fact that you can still park up on the same bit of road with the same trees in the background is imho, amazing. In this day and age, you'd expect there to be a new housing estate where you are standing.

thanks for all compliments guys ! it was aspur of moment thing and it came out fab , i know its daft but i still find the trees the amazing thing after 20 years........... now im getting older i start looking at the simple things in life
