I'm after replacing my set of 16inch speedlines for a set of 17's. But can't decide which to get.

Current Favourites are :
TSW Imola
Team Dynamics Diablo
OZ Supertouring
BK 7 spokes
TSW Fly
League GT-R
Fox Evo 5

So help me decide by posting your pics here.

I understand some of the cheaper makes are quite 'soft' and liable to buckle if you run over potholes, etc.

My advice would be to stick to 'name' brands that you see on rally and racing cars. Off the top of my head comes BBS, Speedline, Compomotive.

Nigel, I thought I was the only person running those speedlines. Never seen another scoob with them.

These are Raceline RL7's, didn't like them much when they arrived (I didn't know the design had changed) but I've got used to them now. Haven't seen them on another car yet, but there could be a good reason for that ! (very strong also very heavy).

Scott, they are BK121. Got them as soon as they were put onto the market, they have a jap look to them and the polished rim looks fantastic on the move. Recently looked at getting another set of rims, and to be honest, all we liked were the same style but as an 18" rim. Do you have access to putting the rims you like next to your car, as this will really help you decide. Alot of wheels look great as just the rim, but when you get them on the car they may not look as good.
Hope you find what your looking for, also if you do a search in the wheels/tyres forum I'm pretty sure someone put a web site you can use to see certain rims on a subaru, even change the colour of the car.

Thanks Tim

I am very pleased with them, but think I would prefer yours from a cleaning point of view......all those spokes, ahh well at least they ain't SuperT's

Looked at the Kahns quite seriously, I think they are a classic design, never go out of fashion. Also I understand the quality is very good. SuperL's were what I always wanted though.

Seem to remember the offset on Kahns was not ideal????

Yeh ! like the look of the BK238's.
As I got a look at a 17inch Wolfrace Racer 7 (which is similar) in Halfords, and their a good price from the dealers advertising in the Car Mags.

Just gotta find out if they fit as they do a PCD 100 and Offset ET45, so I think they might 'Just'

Thumbs up

D/S, yep have seen them in the flesh and they do look pretty special. TBH, we wanted the blk chrome, but as we had a budget to stick to we could'nt stretch to the extra
Power Zone where we got the wheels said that the effect is/was a bit iffy, had problems with the lacquer lifting and I'm pretty sure they said if the above happend the effect isnt covered under warranty ??? Things might be different now though as it was 2 years ago when we got them, and they had just been released that month.

Good luck getting some rims, and get some piccies posted when ya do!

Be good...CRAFT

I'd go for the BK 238's mate as they especially made for the Subaru and are the proper offset. I got mine from Wheelbase for £708 including Falken ZE502's,posh allen key style nuts and carriage.

the choice is yours mate, but personally i'd go for silver. With a set of clear indicators and side repeaters it would really stand out against the black.
