Took advantage of the nice weather and a clean car (a rare combination!) to take some pics of my car at the weekend.

Et voila!

Unfortunately you can't see the ScoobyNet sticker from this angle.

My last car before I got the Scooby was a W plate dark green 206 GTI. Cracking car.

What size are the wheels? 17s?

Nice mota

I had a 206, but got sick of the rubbish build quality and appaling customer services.... shame really because it was potentially a really good car....

Chris,

Wheels are 17" with 205/40/17 Toyo Proxes T1-S - much better than the standard set-up.

Cheers

What's the ride like compared to the standard 15 or 16s? I'd have another, although I will be taking the 206PS for a spin when it comes out....

Chris,

I found the standard ride quite harsh in comparison with my previous 306XSI, so was expecting it to be quite bad once I went to 17" and uprated springs.

However, I heard good things about Eibach springs on the 206, so went for these and I was pleasantly surprised. Not harsh at all and certainly makes a big difference in terms of handling - definitley gives more confidence around corners now.

Although getting rid of the standard "4X4 stance" is probably the biggest benefit!

I'm also looking forward to seeing more on this 206PS - could be seriously tempted, especially if all my bits fit straight on.

Really like the car! wheels make it stand out and the colour is one of the best IMO.

What is the 206 PS is it going to be more powerful then the GTI?

Cheers

Nice car Gza. I would STRONGLY recommend you take it to L.A.D. of Morcambe who are the dogs danglies at turning Pugs into monsters.

Had mine gas flowed and new valves etc and the difference was amazing!!!!!

Speak to a guy called Ernie Larton!!! What he doesnt know about Pugs isnt worth knowing!! (Ernie - please send cheque to Jza, 35 Mar......... )

It should have around 180BHP and is meant to be called the 206 Peugeot Sport. Due to be launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show (this week isn't it?).

Wink

Is it a Yaris?

Only joking!

It looks very nice, it really makes it a lot more masculin now- not so girlie/hairdresser.

Only joking again!

But really, it's the first pug that's made me look twice for a while. Praise indeed.

Cheers guys

Longun - I'm still on the pug forum a bit. Noticed you'd had a hand in their Muppet forum as well

Liked the pics of your car also - I wanted to do something similar with my 306 when I had it but never had the time/money. Like the rear lights especially.
