My first car was like the blue one.

Went on a trip to London a week after I past my test.

All I can say is that I have never been so scared in my life!!!!!!

My mom had a MG Metro(C reg) from new she had it about 5 years, it was a nail complete bag-o-****. The arch's started to rust a 2 years old (dealer didn't want to know) and when she sold it there was a big rust hole in the rear driver side arch and one in the wing and all the white paint had come off all the alloy wheels!!!! Never again have we had a British car they have all been French, Italian and Japanese no problems with any.

Tim.

My mate had a newer shape metallic green 'advantage' model - I thought it was pretty funky till he well spun away to look cool, covered me in muck - then I had to go and graduate. I never forgave him or the car for that LOL!!

Best thing about the metro, the MG Turbo model..... why you ask..... pull the engine, box and brakes off it and fit them to a mini with the aid of a large hammer, tweak here tweak there and voila 120BHP mini turbo yeeeehhhhaaaa.
