Pretty nervy going up against a bike (monkey bike was paddock transport
), you dont know whether they are going to pull a wheelie
.R6 well and truely beat me to the 1/4.

In that pic the beemer got a flier, by then my clutch was almost dead, it was after the 6500rpm launch.
Once i got into second, i pulled back against him, then when i put it into 3rd i just powered past him. Put 2 car lengths between me and him at the quarter.
That was a completely terrible start as well.
I think David Wallis and Dan (DHorwich) were watching at the time.
That beemer was not slow either, IIRC.
The only CAR that i ran against that i lost to, was on my very last run, a R32 Skyline, which i beat quite convincingly on my 1st run.
