Markus - cheers mate.. you know it makes sense to get one now
Scrappy2 - Cheers anyhow and thanx for the revised images .. I know it isn't the scanner, cos the image is final until the preview scan completes, then scanwise works its magic and turns the image yellowy

Must be some setting in the scan software to auto-adjust image levels which probably needs turning off. Whenever I scan anything I turn all the auto help thingys off and then adjust the image if it needs it in Photoshop...

Looks excellent - you must be well pleased.
The wheels and skirts look excellent, but like Simon I'm undecided on the Morettes.
What's next? A PPP, or are you going an alternative route?

THEY ARE SILVER! PROMISE
I've had no joy with this bloody scanner s/w, its not the scanner cos the image looks fine until Scanwise 'fixes' it
Morettes wise, people tend to let you go past more with the morettes fitted, apparently it looks scarey approaching from the rear!

PS. I'm still umming and ah'ing about the PPP or the link route.
PPS. Mr Tang, hmm, yes, but I think I'll wait for the prodrive solution.
See some of you soon and others sooner

That car looks bloody luverley m8 ! I am now seriously considering a new shape Scoob. The morettes set off the front much better than standard and the wheels look superb.
With regard to scanwise ......... dump it ! and grab a copy of PaintShop Pro, nice and cheap and VERY easy to use. I've been using it for years and always obtain top results.
Good luck.

Modrapheniac,
Cheers matey, you'll be amazed how these cars handle with 225/40R18 on 'em.. reminds me of my P1
I thoroughly recommend upgrading to the new Impreza!

Alex,
I thought the car looked really great when I saw and sat (thanks for that!) in it at Bentley.
now it looks even better. Nice one
I'm now totally in love with the bug eyed one, but I have to say that very quielty in case the blackbeast hears me, as it's sitting outside my window and it might get jealous!

Very nice. What's the sticker? And, tell me the wheels are Silver??
Use the Help menu and look for recalibrate or calibrate or however you spell it, might help.

Cheers all, I am well chuffed..
Apparently it passes the 'mean-lookin' test, ask Nito or Mo Last night we had a little meet, wasnt planned just happened
I can't recommend the 18" wheels enuff, they make such a difference to the car's handling, and of course the morettes for looks

Yup,
can confirm the mean look... don't call him Dr Elvil for nothing
The car looks truly awesome in the flesh and the morettes look fantastic in the rearview mirror which is just as well as it spends most of it's time there although with the wicked rally style 18's the balance may be tipped!! Exhaust sounds awesome too...
top car! Top meet and people too

Great looking car, particularly like the new wheels. Regarding the exhaust I am thinking of getting the SS exhaust system, how intrusive do you find it on the motorway, quieter/louder compared to your previous imprezas. Did you notice any difference to performance after fitment and finally do you know what the difference is between the 1 & 2 centre piece option.
cheers

Alex,
Your car is looking great.
Just wondered about your wheels as you said they are OZ super T's but, they look more like P1 Super Novas. I thought super T's had more spokes?

Cheers all,
The exhaust isn't too bad due to the extra sound proofing in the MY'01...
As for the OZ wheels, they are based on the Super Ts and I think were referred to as them in some docs i saw.. But I think the current name is just Prodrive OZ alloys!

I got the wheels from my local Subaru dealer, they got them within 5 days of ordering.. Bell & Colvill for the record.
RRP approx £1950 including PZero Rosso (225/40 R18).. make a huge difference!
