Hello all,
A couple of pics of me and my MY00 at Donnington.
The passenger by the way, is Banshi of P1 fame, off this BBS.

Cheers MTR

Hello MTR,

Top pics - I'll have to get round to a track day one day!

Did you eventually get sorted with some Mintex pads? If so, are they ok with the standard disks? Where did you get 'em from, what is the part number and how much?

Cheers,

Ian.

Looks like I 'll have to lose some weight, almost on three wheels without the extra ballast.

Ian E,
No unfortunately I wasn't able to source any Mintex M1155 pads in time, so I just didn't bother braking eh Banshi.

Seriously if you take it a bit easier going into the Esses/Goddard and Redgate, then you only need brake hard at the Old Hairpin, then slide it round all the other corners.
Not too bad on brakes, at least in the wet.

Demon Tweeks came up with what appeared to be the best price, which if memory serves me well was abot £68, may be + VAT, I cannot remember.

Robinsons Of Rochdale may be running another track day in August, for bikes and cars, like the one I went on.
Call 01706 716655 and ask for Dorian in Parts.

Phil,
Yes I have got a new car, its 'Y' reg, last of the old style.
I only had 14 months to pay on my 'T' reg, but I like being in debt not.
Did you get round to buying a MY98 in place of your MY97 (red one).?

Banshi,
Yes you have to lose 12 stone, cause me car isn't fast enough lugging both of us around
and the brakes won't work.

Cheers MTR
