Hi,

Just pondering a new STi 8 and would love to see some pics of black, silver, and white if anyone has one. Have already seen the blue one, looks good but too many about!

Mmm, silver looks good, bet there's a wait to get one tho

How much to get the wheels done that colour? tempted to have mine done cos I'm not a big gold fan...

Here's a question to other STi8 owners, are your plates stuck on? mine are one with some stick things, fairly well on there, but no screws...

Cost £200 to get the wheels coated in anthracite - got the dealer to do it. I also didn't fancy the gold - and it doesn't show brake dust as much. As for the number plates I am sure the front ones are screwed on, although not sure about the back ones. Will check when I get home!

Peter

Edited to sort out spelling!

....the wheels would look good in anthracite on a black car, but imho I think the gold ones are OK on a black car - just not on a silver one.

As for the wait, I ordered in November and got it at the beginning of March, not sure what the lead times are now, but would have thought they were the same as a black one???

About two or three weeks to get mine, but it was supposedly on the way, but it was the first black one the dealer had.

Mm, they don't look bad on black, but they look a bit bright when they're clean, actually look better with some brake dust on So thinking anthracite would look good...

Need something more like this:

Cool

Thanks for all the pics, much appreciated.

Although i swore id never have another black car, a black STi 8 with matching pimp tints is looking tempting.

The silver looks spot on with the anthracite wheels - standard gold wheels only seem to work on the blue, all the other colours look much better with silver wheels.

The silver does look much less in your face than blue or black and is more flattering to what is still not a pretty car.

Ive been quoted june delivery, anyone faired any better?
