Anyone got a pic of Jay/Firefox's spoiler?

Cheers for that piccy Boomer,
nice spoiler, but I must agree with everyone else, it doesn't really look right on a Scoob.
Saw one on a Skyline and it looked the Mutt's Nuts. I just fancied being a bit different, but I don't know now.
Timpreza, LOL at pewking man!!
Cheers

It might not be to everyone's taste, but think of the possibilities...
Mount it upside down on the roof and you're the proud owner of a microlite!!

I think the difference here, is that someone (J), wants functionality, over something that is pointless but pretty.
At least it's different and not another STI/Prodrive copy that does nothing.
These seem very popular in Japan - next year you'll all want them, you mark my words

Yeah but hang on, if that wing actually provides downforce on the rear of the car, surely that will make the car understeer horrendously?
Wouldn't you have to have a similar wing/air dam on the front?

I am glad I have finally got noticed
Albeit for the wrong reasons.. lol
The only thing I didnt like was the front of the car... but that has now been rectified.
Everyone is allowed their own opinions.. and I dont mind people disliking my mods.
Everything I do is for a reason (albeit the clear indicators).
Would all you guys with BIG spoilers, like to post data on the effects of your wing.. and why you fitted them ?
Pete.. would you like to comment on results and testing of your wing ?
J.
ps - Owner of STI IV wing, owner of carbon adjustable 22B, owner of GT spec wing (tried most of them on the track)

Now I'm curious! Is there a big difference in handling with that spoiler? Doesn't it understeer a lot more? How much does topspeed suffer?

What do you mean with that??? did you understeer against a tree?
BTW, Do you sell your STI IV wing?? Do ya??

Front mount ICs are lovely
The rear table/sledge/microlite wing is two stage adjustable.. it has two seperate adjustable aerofoils on it.
My car runs Leda C, uprated front and rear ARBs, poly bushing through out.. front and rear adjustable camber plates.. Bumpsteer mod, uprated springs (not stock Leda items) and 17" race slicks
Doesnt seem to understeer to me
The back end of the car is far more stable and surefooted with this wing than any other wing I have tried.. this is very noticable through bends like craners.
Top speed can suffer.. but you set it for the type of track (bends, straights).
If you want the top speed, fit a better engine

Yes Andy, we've all known for ages that you were a bit of a tart
The point is, you can make a fast, good handling car without making it look like it's been butchered.
Just look at the old WRC, it wasn't exactly ugly now was it? I just wished J's m8s would have talked more sense into him. As long as he's happy I suppose.

J,
How much time do you spend on track? The STI/WRC spoilers might not perform as well as your DTM job, but it's a small price to pay for the looks IMHO. I don't think any of the rep spoliers claim any great improvements in downforce, hence why they are always listed under Styling.
BTW, I think someones been at the Photoshop for the front of your car

I thought the "proper" WRC Scoob wings produced most downforce when going sideways as this is what they spend most of the time doing, rather than when going straight?
This is obviously unlike a lot of the cheaper STI/WRC replica wings that are being sold out there.

Whether or not your mods are to my taste is irrelevant, I salute you for making changes to your car that are purely performance orientated and anything else second
CH
How are you M8 hows your motor still under the knife?
