My blue dials

Sorry about the quality but it was quite difficult to take a pic with blue light.
They look better in the real world.
And some with the flash
what do you think

May i be as bold as to ask
Where did you get the bulbs from and is it as straight forward as swappuing the bulbs over?

Hi Guys sorry for the delay in replying.
Robby for the main centre vent you need to remove the 2 screws which are situated in the cut out for the left and right controls. Then you just pull. The whole console will pop out and the vents can then be removed. All the other vents are just pulled or levered out. The paint is a coarse grade silver with no lacquer (2pack) I have a mate who is a paint sprayer. He is doing the rest of the interior which is why the other bits arn't on in the pick
Andy and Paul check out

I have a Nokia 8210 and the little buggers in there are surface mount things about 1mm square, not a hope of me getting them out.
The phone looks good which type of led did you use............oh God I've found someone as sad as me

Hi Yee,
Re: LED's in Nokia 8210
Yeah,they are very small & a bit of a **** to change.
I have successfully changed to ones in my wife's 3210 as well!
The 3210 uses the same 0603 package size LED's as the 8210.
The Nokia 6210 uses the slightly larger 1206 package size LED's
However, the 6210 was a lot harder to do than the 3210
I haven't changed the lights in the dials of my P1 yet!
But I think I might have found some LED's that are mounted in the same type of package as the filament bulbs used in the dials as standard.
I have some on order as samples.
I'll let you know if they work.
I have already found some 10mm High Brightness White LED's that fit in place of the side light bulbs..... These I have already fitted to my P1
Cheers,
Rob

How much to mod my 8210?
Pic looks the Dogs.
Not got a P1 but a nice blue Terzo.
Thanks
Ian
ps can I get a Terzo logo for the phone?[/quote]
Hi Ian,
I can scan/create the Terzo logo & send it direct to your phone.
E-mail me off line with your Mobile Number & the Network your on.
With regards to changing the LED's in your 8210.
I'm sorry to say that I'm not offering this as a service.
However, I can put you in contact with someone who does offer this as service.
I don't want to appear awkward, but this as you can imagine is a scary mod to do.
As you can understand I don't want to be responsible for possible damage to someone else's phone that may arise as a result of these mod's.
Ok I've done my own phones, but hey if I damaged them then that's down to me.
Hmmm now where is my Terzo brochure?
Cheers,
Rob

I’m afraid that I have to agree with Rob on this one. I share his reluctance in offering the blue dials because if I **** it up then its down to me to sort out. It’s not to bad on your own car but if you were to do it for other people and they weren’t happy with the results what can you do?
To do the dials (all of them)it takes between 10 and 14 leds @ £3 each, this is about £45 in parts before you even pay for somebody’s time, and it does take a bit of time.
Ian I don’t know how it will look with the white dials – what if you don’t like the look? If you really want it let me know and I will do it for you, but if it goes pear shaped................

Dear Yee,
Thanks for the offer. Your a bit out of my way but when (or rather if I get some time & cash I'll be in touch).
I still love the look.
Regards,
Ian
