I finally upgraded my Scooby from the Mark 1 to a Mark 2 STi TypeUK in Black.

I'm looking to tint the windows and i've been offered 'gold' tints for the side and rear; i think these will look really cool, especially as it will match the alloys; but i'm wondering if this will make the car even more of a target from TwoCers to the police.

My alternative is to continue with the 'Black' look of the car and have 30% blkack tints on the side/rear.

Any comments?

Its obviosly a matter for you....can I ask...have you had a quote for the tinting?

I have a contact in the Redditch area who has quoted me £180 for the car(4 door)

Yes, got quoted £400 for four windows and the back one, guarenteed for 5 years and will still let me see out of them at night. I think that's too much and will go with a cheaper quote from somewhere else.
