Certainly is genuine. It's the car the David Richards used to co-drive in with a rather well known old-skool rally master who's name escapes me at the moment. Glad you like the photos.

Not sure if they still do them but back then Prodrive did guided tours of the factory. They waited for sufficient numbers to express an interest then call you up with a day. Myself my brother and our Dad whent and we had a great time. Batteries ran out after the work shops with the covered-up cars and outside was the white P1 development car (very nice indeed). Most of the cars where awaiting rally preparation but didnt get an answer out of the guide as to what the road cars (see yellow one partially covered-up) where awaiting. A great evening was had and a bellated thanks to PRODRIVE.

How come the rally car in the pic has FMIC pipes leading to the front, not round the rear of the engine. Can normal road cars have it this way round as well?

Excellent pictures.
I'm told I have Mike Wood's old WR Sport (but that may just be sales patter ) so it'd be cool to take it down there for a factory tour, wonder if they DO still do them?
Is that yours in the opening pic?

Mickle,
Prodrive reverse the intake manifold hence the intercooler pipework located where it is. I guess the main reason being shorter distance...when you got 5 do a search on David Wallis' DIY front mounted intercooler thread (He did this)

Monday Lad,
I wish the 22B was mine. I was told by the girl on reception that it was one of the big cheeses at Prodrive.
Glad to see your all enjoying the pics.
