I just fitted some 18" SuperL's to my car with Toyo rubber. I also have to say the ride isn't uncomfortable. I haven't got my Eibachs yet though...
Your car looks stunning by the way.

Just thought i would try my luck here, but if you are planning on changing your rear spoiler, would you be selling your old one? If you do decide to,can i put my name down for it(if someone hasnt already). Love the wheels, they look great! Shouldve gone for 18's on mine!!!!! Ah well, something to do at a later point i guess

The ride is actually not that bad, I've got eibachs fitted so the ride was stiff to start with but its not any worse with the elastic bands that are fitted on these than it was with the standard 16s. Oh and I know people have said these wheels arent that strong but if you saw (and felt!!!) the pot hole I hit in Colchester yesterday maybe they'd change their opion.
The insurance didnt go up by much at all, about £40 for the wheels and spoiler. The cost of a good set of 18s is the better part of £1100 so I thought spending the extra £100-200 for something I really wanted was worth while
