I traded this
for this!
It got too expensive to run
The best part about the Focus is that it's group 7 insurance instead of 17
And i've done 70 miles on quarter of a tank
Still miss the exhaust note though

I had a Focus as a hire car for a week. The handling in the dry was incredible (easily a match for the scoob), however, the slightest damp on the road and it was lethal (and that was driving normal!!!!!!).

not too shabby Crush. I had a hire focus for a few days, drove from manchester to Edinburgh along the A47 (I think that was the road, was the scenic route) Must say I was impressed with the handling.
So, when do you mod it?

focus's r gr8 cars, just lack power, I used to have a 1.8 zetec 3 door.
fitted rs boot spoiler
17" super T's
and clear front & sides repeaters.
it looked the nuts but subtle, the larger wheels and rubber helped it grip in the wet so handling was much improved.
I have to admit i miss the heated front screen and mirrors that the rb5 lacks!!!

Thanks Guys
I have to agree, in the dry the handling is excellent! Shame about driving it in the wet, i found that out the hard way!
Although there is the tempation to put some AP4 pots & 17's on it, i'm having to resist at the moment
I might have to do a trackday to wear out the rubber, then i'll have a good excuse to buy bigger wheels

I'm not sure if u can actually get em anymore!!
they are Monza's but the TSW Imolas are almost the same but have 1 less spoke,
i traded this car in for the RB5, next day some blokes walked into the Subaru dealer and nicked the keys for it, consequently nicking the focus right from under their noses

I can't help but feel i've kinda done it the wrong way around
Isn't it supposed to be a slow or cheap car, then an Impreza or Evo or something?

LOl Crush,
couple of years in the focus and you can get yourself a nice shiny new MY05
I've promised myself a nice turbo for when I hit thirty, only two and a half years of Sport ownership to go
