Thanks for your comments lads.

Simon - Bump strips were there when i bought it. I think that they were probably fitted by the original Subaru dealer (Adams of Aylesbury). Whoever fitted them did a bloody good job, the colour match is perfect(hardly notice they're there). Have you ever seen them like this on a P1 before as its the first i've seen like it?

Chrome - I used good ol' Auto Glym polish and 'Extra Gloss Protection'. I plan to get an inch thick layer of the stuff on it before the salting starts!

Glen - I bought it privately a month or so ago, but i think that the previous owner had bought it from Adams roughly a year ago.

Pretty much standard apart from 18's, Ap 6 pots, full Prodrive decat, scoobysports downpipe, and 3 gauge pod.

Now then, where did you get your side bump strips colour coded, how much was it and did they have the car for ages? Only ask I've got a set sitting in the garage waiting to go on mine......

Any bodyshop should be able to colour code the side strips, and they dont need the car there while you are painting them either.

Nice to see Sues car went to a good home!
