OK this is what happened...........
Driving along a busy M6 on a sunny saturday afternoon, looking forward to getting on track at Oulton Park, when traffic starts building up. I'm in the outside lane with nice distance between me and the car in front. Next thing I know is the car in centre lane slams his brakes on and swerves into my lane to avoid hitting the car in front....... I slam my brakes and try to get in the narrow lane next to central reservation to avoid hitting him and wheels lock up spinning my car around 180 degrees into the crash barrier on the central reservation. To avoid being hit by the merc behind me I carry on steering the car round until I was at a standstill facing the wrong way down the M6!!!!!! Next thing we know we we're surrounded by Fire Engines (the inhabitants of which kindly took a crow bar to my ally bonnet in order to isolate the battery!!) Fortunately the ambulance that arrived next was not needed and the police car didn't even take any details. The other car did stop, but burnt off before i could get the registration.
So instead of enjoying a thrash round Oulton Park, we sat in the back of a recovery truck for the next two hours!
........but it'll be back on the road soon - even better than before!!!

Ouch! Sorry to see that, don't think that one is going to polish out... Hope you're okay, and you get her put back together again soon.
