Bump to the top - need a good, close up picture of a bug-eyed car's instrument panel, both STI and normal needed.

STi-Frenchie - Thanks for that, but I need to see a MPH speedo. But, it's exactly the kind of picture I'm after.

Can anyone else help ?

Will take one when I do my obligatory 'new car' photos after picking mine up tomorrow if you don't have one by then.

Scott,

Do my eyes deceive me or are you doing 150 with one hand on the wheel?

Matt.

Red face

Matt,

How else do you expect him to hold the camera

Oh and Scott, whatever you do, don't lift off at those speeds. Don't want that engine to go pop

boys, I would like to say i had one hand on the wheel and even took the picture but i had to have the other hand lower so i did'nt obstruct the view when Jonno took the picture

It was actually indicating 154mph, this was done on a flat road( so no assistance ) while driving down to Catalunya in March. I held it at that for a good 15 seconds but it would'nt go no faster, that bloody great spoiler is slowing me down

I found this one on the net somewhere, but I'm afraid it is a bit small

Yes it is from the M3/M5, and the lights only come on once you start to hit 7500. The bar starts to turn yellow and then red once you hit 8000. The bar lights up towards the 4000 mark, not from it. It is a culmination of ideas incorporating what is called the SMG Drivelogic.

Tis Very nice
