Godspeed Brake Conversion Pic Please
#1
Just noticed the group buy on Godspeed conversion kits. I'm particulary interested in the 335's. If anyone has a piccy they could post It would be appreciated.
Cheers in advance.

That is indeed my car!
The current group buy thread has all the costs involved. I have just done 130 miles around Croft with no fade or drama at all and with extremely low wear on the pads. A very happy bunny!

Thanks guys. Don't you just love Scoobynet for this kinda thing.
Is the picture of Steve's car, (Silver Wheels MY01/02), the 335 kit?
On the thread, someone said the pad sticks out and looks untidy. I can see this in the picture and it doesn't look too bad to me. Any oppinions anyone? Steve?

Nathan,
Point taken. But we all like our pride and joys to look as nice as possibly, and showing off the the brakes seems to be at the top of the priorities with wheel designs now days. Otherwise we'd be all still using steel wheels and trims.......

The pad does stick out of the caliper, but the pad wears evenly across it's width and so is working hard over it's full area. People tend to comment on the disc size rather than the pad protruding though!

Mintex 1144's. Good from cold and better when hot. Just done 130 miles of Croft (8 x 20 min sessions) with no fade and little wear to the pads and NO WARP!!
If you go for a kit, ensure you get good fluid and stainless steel braided hoses.
