This car is incredible. It shunts at 130mph easily, has heated seats and lovely blue dash and red lighting...it handles terribly but costs virtually nothing to run. I've not modified it at all but have a good sat nav inside courtesy of the 1 DIN unit from alpine and also a front centre armrest with cubby hole. What do you think of the forthcoming R32? Looks fantastic i think.

awaiting arrival of my anniversary edition which is what you want.....18's as standard, recaro interior, body kit and only 1800 made. mine is the 150 bhp diesel.....

Yep,

just swapped my P1 for a PD150 golf GTi. The diesels are even quicker than the petrol turbo ones (150bhp and 237lb/ft @1900rpm).

The diesel gives the same top speed etc. How does 51mpg at 80-90mph over 200 miles strike you

I used to have a GTi Turbo, mine was a 2000 model without the traction control. Hopeless wheelspin in the wet, infact being beaten off the lights by a Vectra made me get what I've got now

Nice cars though, love the black GTi with those mahoosive wheels on the VW advert.

you lot should look on the focus rs thread on other marques, i am trying to educate them, i have a mk1 golf - beast, and on 21/10 will take delivery of my gttdi 150pd golf, the anniversary is the daddy , the r32 is even better

mk1 golf soon to be track day monster on twin 40`s see my mk1 golf is nearly ready also on other marques

Anniversay looks great. Has it also got the new speedo, etc? looks sharp. The R32 - cannot wait to see that...best golf ever IMO.

i went to sort out some paperwork at my dealeras last wk and he told me all the tdi anniversary's have gone..........

not sure if it's true though.....

20 days and counting for mine and i can give my brother his punto 1.2 snail back........

1800........900 diesel and 900 petrol

it was going to work out at 6 per dealer, 3 in petrol and 3 in diesel, and in each colour.....a red, black n silver, but as i understand some of the larger dealerships were gonna get 10 or so anniversary's and the smaller one's would get 1 or 2,.............this from the vw dealer who lives opposite my house!!!!!
