Massive spec.....
The best of everything......
From the suspension (coilovers) to the engine (internals and running on greys )
Currently boosting at 1.5 bar
Not bad for a little old 12yr old 4x4 cosworth eh
First outing at Oulton Park on Tuesday
Now....where's that there Cossykiller

I seen this car yesterday Stripes have gone
Wait and see how it goes, i'm sure a full report will appear soon
Paul, the front arch's have plastic extensions I think because the wheels stick out a little because of the suspension setup (full adjustable bottom arms etc), giving it a wider track.
I'm sure Mellow will have more info soon.
Skip.

Nice one Mellow, why not the Evo route ?
I guess the Cossie is more cost effective for the amount of track days you do.
I have some good video of a certain white Evo kicking butt out of some big bhp Cossies at Goodwood this year !!! Interesting footage especially as they didnt like letting the Evo past.
All the best
Jason

That's not a turbo under the bonnet, it's a dustbin with a desk fan inside! It's HUGE!!
Bet it shifts. Are we talking over 450bhp here or what?
Nice car m8. Glad you got rid of the stripes though. They were a bit "McDonald's car park"
C U soon. Are you going to the meet Thursday @ Ladybarn, we could go onto the Fish after?
Rich

Well....
Oulton Park yesterday this little old machine was the daddy of tintops I have a good friend called Dale from the MLR with a very well set up EVO (400bhp +) massive 25g turbo etc....he held me up at every corner but pulled away on the straights, we went toe to toe like this for at least 8 laps with only a cars distance between us on the straights ....so....not bad for a £7k motor eh ?
Lap times were down to 2 min 4 secs (I have achieve 1 min 57 secs in the RA on slicks though )
However....
I broke it
The gearbox that is....blew it to kingdom come
So I'll let you all write your answers on the respective postcard
The car was only a stopgap for this week....it's now been sold to a friend of mine who does intend to use it for trackdays...
Dave....I don't understand your statement above ?

I meant to add but still youve proved your ra was quicker. (except I assume the fix or repair daily wasnt on slicks)

I know that motor !!!!
I'd recognise the Toyo Tyres sticker anywhere, and the Gaffa tape ~ LOL
I used to compete against it at Harewood Hillclimb in my old Impreza. The guy that used to own it is a mate of mine.
What do you reckon to it ?
What boost is she pulling now ??
As for the plastic wheel arch "bits", the Hillclimb regs state something like the bodywork MUST be wider than the wheels or something to that effect.
Cheers
Mark
