Hi All,

Am I the only one with a genuine STI 7 headlamp conversion?? Well maybe. Mucho effort involved, luckily I had Mark on hand(large pint owed) to carry out the technical stuff. Not a 5 min job so thankyou Mark and Rachel.

Worth the effort I hope you'll agree.

looks the dogs! the headlamps, it wasnt a straight fit by n e chance was it?

fraid not, think we'd have seen a few more if it was!

Only thing that wasnt do-able was the adjusters, on the back of the STI light its a 6 pin plug, the WRX is only a 3 pin. If anyone has a convertor Id love to hear from them, but I doubt it!

the other prob you have is that to do a proper job you need all the plugs that go into the back of the light. We eventually found what we needed in a Toyota Celica(older shape)

interesting, I have to say from the info on the page Im not sure which one Id need, basically the lamp has 6 pin and the cable is for a 3 pin so what I need is a 6 pin female with 3 pin male I think......

Just get an electrical tester, count what bulbs you have, count how many wire, cross reference them with you new unit, snip, snip, bit of soldering, jobs done. Or get an auto electrician. Should be a doddle for them.

I have a silver Jap spec 02 WRX with these as standard, I think they look the dogs too, if you have any problems with the wiring drop me a mail and I'll see if I can help

Andy - absolutely brilliant!

Think you and Rachel def. made the right decisions re: headlight mods, they look like they really belong on there - nice!
