Thank you for the compliment Ian - It's now about 3 days untill "Scobday". If any one can recomend anything to check out when buying a second hand one. It's "Subaru Proven" so has been checked (so they say) but any top tips would be appreciated. I had a test drive and could hear no knocking etc (and NEVER driven a car like it - 4 days is like a year at the moment) but any basic signs of problems.......?

No still there, the engine is almost musical! first the sucking then the pulling then the blowing. It's just get better each time. Although I'm a bit let down by the interior build, the steering column and dash plastic sounds hollow and (dare I say it) cheap. That's not to say I'm not still in love! If I wanted that sort of thing I would have bought a Mondeo! All you people who have had a Scooby a long time - turn the radio off and just listen....... Then you will remember the feeling and why you bought the car
